Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains what information Rob-ot (“Rob-ot,” “we,” “us”) collects through rob-ot.net, and what we do with it.

What we collect

What you send us. If you use a form on this site or email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you write. If you ask for an evaluation, we also receive your business website, and we review only information about your business that is already public.

Basic site data. Our website host, Squarespace, automatically records standard visit data such as pages viewed, browser type, approximate location and the referring site. It uses cookies to do this.

How we use it

To reply to you, prepare the evaluation you asked for, and talk with you about working together. To run and improve this website. To keep records we are required to keep by law.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it out, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles it

We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they handle your information only on our behalf: Squarespace, which hosts this website and its forms, and Google Workspace, which runs our business email. We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Cookies

This site uses cookies from Squarespace. Some are needed for the site to work. Others measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site still works if you do.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and contact details for as long as we need them to respond to you and run the business, then we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email rob@rob-ot.net and we will respond within 30 days.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we can’t promise absolute security.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
